  • contractors mean our guest speakers, instructors and any other contractor that contracts with us;

  • Programs means any of the Tamie Mums programs available for purchase on our website (www.tamiemums.com).

The types of personal information we collect depends on how and why you are engaging with us, but it could include:

  • (for our contractors) your blue card details
  • payment details submitted through our booking platform; 
  • information you provide in relation to our Programs, such as calls to us, messages or emails you send us, interactions you have with our staff, contractors or customers, or feedback that you provide to us; and
  • your online interactions with our website, social media channels, communications and advertising and third-party websites that display our advertising. 

Sometimes the information that we collect, use and disclose is sensitive information under the Privacy Act, such as health information shared by you during our Programs.

We collect your personal information directly from you when you: 

  • book or attend a Program; 
  • use our website or booking system; 
  • interact with us:
    • via our website or social media channels (including through cookies); 
    • over the telephone; or 
    • by mail, email or in person.

We hold and use the personal information we have about you to: 

  • communicate with you and manage our relationship with you; 
  • provide, manage, administer and improve our Programs; 
  • process bookings and payments; 
  • (for our contractors) assess and manage contractors, including blue card compliance;  
  • operate, manage and improve our business; and 
  • comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

We may disclose your personal information to: 

  • our third party service providers to help us operate our business, including: booking and payment platforms, technology and software providers and marketing and advertising platforms (such as Facebook, Google, LinkedIn and Instagram); 
  • our professional advisers and contractors; 
  • government authorities and law enforcement agencies in Australia, where required by law or a regulator; and 
  • to banks and payment processing providers. 

Disclosure of your personal information overseas

We may disclose your personal information to third party service providers located overseas, including in the United States of America and countries located in the European Union, for the purposes of operating our booking and payment systems.

  • work to resolve it promptly and fairly; and 
  • respond within a reasonable timeframe, usually within 30 days.
